Here we go again - back to the mainland

My last few weeks in NYC were both crazy hectic and really nice. From going out everynight, to 40 papers to write I must say I balanced it out fairly well. Monday, went to Far East Movement @ Greenhouse, NYC. Tuesday, did Foundation @ Essex where we all got together to say bye to meeee. My roommate Danielle graduated from NYU last week so congrats to her and I had my spring dance performance (where I didn't invite anyone) so yay to me. Also, thanks to all my friends who spent the last days with me, eating, shopping, drinking and more eating. Will miss u guys!

Anyway so before I arrived in Shanghai, I spent 14 hours in Hong Kong which couldnt have been any better. Dinner in Rat alley, drinks (obviously) in Lan Kwai then a ferry to Discovery Bay where I caught the bus back to the airport around 4 Am. Then from there, went to the Marriot to chill and grab breakfast =) Hong Kong, I love you.

First of all, holy crap does Shanghai look clean. Naturally I havent had the chance to visit the expo yet, since I only just got back but I took a tour around pudong whilst on my way to visit some relatives. But damn... gazillion flower pots lined up alongside the highway?? Who is going to water them all? And the new taxis?? And that new bottle opener building? (which is now the tallest building in shanghai). Its definately a change.

Ok, I'm out for now. Time to go refill my DVD case. xx
